Membership of the Society is open to all those interested in studies of the long eighteenth century. The majority of funds raised through membership fees are directed towards running the conference, postgraduate travel grants and the production of a resulting publication from the conference.

Membership rates as of 2017 are as follows:
- Membership (academics and waged) $AUD25/year or $AUD60 for three years
- PG Membership (students and unwaged) $AUD15/year or $AUD30 for three years
